Father, Son tortured by police

Police arrested father and son and tortured them for five days. They were not named in any case. When they were recovered on court orders, they were in very miserable condition due to inhuman torture by police. Both were shifted to hospital and case was registered against SHO and cops involved.

Police insists on "MUK MUKA" from rape victim instead of arresting rapist

Last day a prisoner tried to escape by treating his guards with drugged biscuits. That was a tradition known as "Kharcha Pani". It is some money or food Pakistani police demands from its applicants or prisoners.

Another more shameful and inhuman tradition introduced in Police is "Muk Muka". It is where police forces victims to just leave the other party alone and normally they take money from the other party for this "service". i.e. If a woman has been raped, they will try to prove to her family that its not in their benefit to register a case saying that it will only bring shame to their family. They will pretend as if they are their well wishers. By pressurising with these tactics, they normally manage to shut up the victims. If victims family does not listen to them softly, they will threaten them with turning the case against them and so on until they withdraw the case.

Some thing like this happened in linked news where rape victim is being pressurised by police to forgive the rapist. In this way, on one hand police is directly involved in gang rapes and on the other hand, they are protecting rapists by pressurising victims.

Policemen involved in illegal detention and torture will not be forgiven: CCPO

CCPO Aslam Tareen says that illegal detentions, torture and mistreating public in police station will not be tolerated. Well statement looks kinda familiar.

We will not allow drone attacks.
We will not allow terrorist attacks.
We will not allow corruption.

Well any body can issue political statements. Corrupt politician do that all day long.

Suspendend: The highest punishment for a cop

Murder, gang rape, torture, illegal detention or bribe - a cop in Pakistan guilty of one or all of these crimes gets suspended and that's it. Later we hear that he is being reappointed at better position. All of this is because of political involvements.

However Lahore High court rejected this punishment against cops that were absent from their posts when shooting accord at Rawalpindi court saying that they should be presented before Anti-terrorism court.

Treat us with tea and biscuits

It is cutomery that underarrest prisoners are forced to treat cops with "Kharcha Pani" (eat and drink). It is the same custom that provided an escape plan to a prisoner by feeding drugged biscuits to cops (although they dissorved greater punishement than being drugged). However the plan failed because people caught and handed over the prisonor to police.

Police arrests victims

In recent rains, Azam Gardan Society was filled with water and people were not able to come out of their homes. People protested against Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA). But what police did was that they arrested the people who protested against WASA for not doing its job. Welcome to Pakistan.

Case registered against cops for killing a biker

Sarfaraz 26 was riding his bike when Police shot him. Police said that when ordered to stop by police. Victims family claims that police murdered their son and Sarfaraz was not involved in shooting.

It is worth mentioning here that Police has setup hurdles on every corner of roads in Pakistan. This is not the first case where Police shot at a bike rider for not stoping. Hoever this police performance has not reduced terrorism acts rather these deaths can be added to those killed by terrorist blasts.

Police performance disappointing - Chief Justice

Chief Justice Supreme Court said that the performance of Police is disappointing. Police salaries were doubled by the government but it did not change any thing. Supreme Court of Pakistan was hearing a land mafia case. He said that hundereds of cases are being launched against police everyday.

Two rescued from illegal police custody

Daily thousands of people in Pakistan are taken by Police, locked up and tortured illegally however thanks to courts, some of them manage to suffer less. Two of those were rescued by court officials from a Police station today. Ismat-Ullah and Akmal were held in lockups without registering their arrest.

Woman raped by two cops

A woman named Saera Bibi was walking home when two cops grabbed her into a shop and raped her whole night. Another man was also involved in the gang rape. In the morning woman reported the crime to SSP MPK.

Another woman becomes victim of terrorists in uniform. With crimes like these committed by Pakistani police every day, its safer to keep away from police.

CJ Lahore high court takes notice of death of two in custody

Two men were killed in public under police custody namely Sajid and Rasheed arrested under "Tohin'e Risalat" act. However Chief Justice Lahore High Court took notice and investigation record was ordered to be presented.

Theft charges against two years old

If you are not aware, this is not an unusual mistake. Minor people are frequently arrested and even tortured by Pakistani Police. Women torture by Police

Women threatens to suicide because of what Police did to her.

Farzanna Bibi was tortured in her house by ASI Bashir and his friends tearing her cloths and beating her. Area Police Station and DSP Arifwala also refused to register the case. Upon direction of DPO Pakpattan, a false FIR was filed and ASI was later declared innocent. Later false theft charges were filed against her for revenge, she said.
